About Wilfred Lax
Wilfred Lax is a clinical psychologist with over forty years of experience. He qualified in 1985 and has practised in Edgecliff since 1993. He works with adults, couples, families, children and adolescents, and has worked in a wide range of settings including schools, hospitals, universities, drug and alcohol clinics, the military and private practice. He is committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy to individuals, couples and families.
Education
Wilfred holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is registered with AHPRA (PSY0001139190) and is a registered Medicare provider. He is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Psychologist. He is a board-approved supervisor with AHPRA and an adjunct supervisor at Macquarie University.
